Default Something different for PvP. Flame if required...

Just bin playing HA and I realised how boring shock warrior is. I'm sure I could be a more efficient killing machine what with foes using wards etc. What I came up with is this. 2 different builds one for factions one not.

Factions build.
W/Me
Points in illusion, swords and lil bit of strength
Skills

Sever
Gash
Conjure Phantasm
Illusion of Weakness
Dragon Slash {E}
Sun and Moon Slash
Jaizhenju Strike
Res Signet

The idea with this build is to maintain -8 degen on foe (sever + conjure) while doing big damage with dragon slash, sun and moon and jaizhenju. This should then be possible to maintain on multiple foes but energy may be a problem. Might be an idea to use +5 energy weapon and glads armor then swap between focus and shield when needed. This is just a good pressure build basically and can be used on multiple targets.

The second non factions build would be brilliant in the right team e.g. condition necros and rangers.
Same attribute point distribution
Skills

Sever
Gash
Conjure Phantasm
Illusion of Weakness
Fevered Dreams {E}
Pure Strike
Final Thrust/Hamstring
Res Signet

Same idea, to use sever/gash/conjure to get degen + wound but using fevered dreams to distribute that to all foes in an area. This would work brilliant if all enemy foes and inside their wards. You can apply bleed + wound to them all, plus if your group has a poison ranger or even a virulence warrior that would increase area conditions. It would just be impossible to deal with that many conditions. Problems again with energy though.

Good...Bad ???
Which one is better ??
I realise the Fevered Dreams warrior would work much better in GvG where there is much greater coordination and organisation so you could get conditions on properly e.g. rotting flesh necro, immolate elemental, poison ranger etc.

Any comments

netniwk, these skills, sever and conjure, will have spamability and so you can put them on multiple targets and if your team has a hexer necro and or mesmer then the enemy monks will be properly stretched to remove all of them. These W/Me builds would work best in a hex/condition pressure build I reckon causing enemy monks to burn up energy removal all the conditions.

You could remove illusion of weakness but even in PvP, u'd be surprised how useful it can be. Not only does it trigger mods while enchanted and if it gets removed you get healed for free, but it also in affect makes you live a lot longer. Say monks are over stretch, that +200 health when ur health gets below 25% could make a big difference

You can't immediately deem this build useless because condition and hex removal exist- though you're right about switcing IOW for a speed buff. Fatboyslimer, I just can't make myself believe that you can maintain these hexes on multiple targets, but if you've tried this build and pulled it off, fair enough.

lol I forget to mention I had to change it slightly. It doesn't work without using warrior endurance {E}, since conjure phantasm requires a lot of energy for a warrior. Here is how I used this build. Run upto a target, cast conjure, then hamstring, then warriors endurance - to regain energy - bash till sever + gash is recharged then pump these off together so it'll require 2 condition removals to remove bleed. You should have enough energy after that (using warriors endurance) to use conjure again to get -8 degen which is pretty much as good as -10. -10 degen means you lose 20 health a sec, -8 means you lose 16 health a second. There is only 4 difference in it.

Skills I've changed to: 14 swords 10 illusion 10 strength.

Sever
Gash
Final Thrust/Hamstring
Distortion
Conjure Phantasm
Warrior Endurance {E}
Illusion of Weakness - sorry its just such a lifesaver
Res Signet

This works a lot better and I do realise distortion makes you lose energy but its great if your getting or about to get spiked. This is why there's an optional adrenaline skill, so you can use distortion until you have no energy then use adrenaline skills. Using zealous sword, it only takes 5 hits to be able to use warriors endurance then your back in business.

This works way better, but if your still not happy with illusion of weakness can you think of something to replace it with. Endure Pain -- good but when it runs out you're often screwed, iway - suckie if used in a balanced HA group, I will survive -- can't guarentee to be suffering from condition. Just had a brain wave. If you moved points into tactics you could use healing signet and bonetti's defense. so 13 swords 10 illusion 9 tactics rest in strength, with 'Charge' as elite possibly. Gonna try this later

I still think its good though. Any improvements that could be made ??

you're a warrior and you put distortion on your bar....

you just shouldn't ever worry about defending melee attacks. you're a warrior.

worry about being blind. worry about being crippled. worry about spiteful spirit. worry about killing the monk. but don't worry about other warriors.

you're trying too hard to 'tank' in a pvp environment. you need to kill, not stay alive.

Sever
Gash
Final Thrust
Bonetti's Defense/ Riposte
Conjure Phantasm
Charge {E}
Healing Signet or Watch Yourself
Res Signet

New skills I'm using with 10 illusion 12 tactics and 12/13 swords.
I took distortion and bonetti's in this new build mainly for anti iway in HA since iway is bloody everywhere. Its like a 90% chance of meeting iway now its stupid. Mostly adrenaline skills, same bleed/deep wound/conjure combo with final thrust for extra damage, bonetti's for defense + energy or riposte for melee block and damage. Using Charge to catch fleein' foes and healing sig for preservation or watch yourself for area defense. So 26 energy can be used solely for conjure and charge. So energy isn't a problem as much, as I'm still usin' zealous sword.

This is even better than the one before. If blind, I would just keep using conjure and healing signet till it goes away. Crippled, I'd use charge or something. Dunno about hexes but decent teams usually have good hex removal anyway

Not really. I think this build works really well actually. Bleed + Phantasm = -8 degen. Hey its something different. Monks aren't prepared for it and if your team has necro hex spammer too, then this makes monks job a lot harder with hex removal. I would take another attack though instead of riposte.

Sever
Gash
Galrath (or Sun and Moon)
Final Thrust
Charge {E}
Conjure Phantasm
Healing Signet
Res Signet.

Its a good pressure degen warrior but not that great on its own. If you think its a joke give it a try. People don't expect warriors spamming conjure phantasm on you. I even used this in a few winning HA teams

I think your a joke :P
only joking. I actually agree, this build is useless. The best W/Me build is the blackout warrior using battle rage to build up an adrenaline spike then using blackout.

This phantasm build was just something silly to run around HA with till I got factions lol

erm...what? To do an adrenaline spike it is preferable to be using an IAS stance, if you build up your adrenaline then use blackout you will have lost all your adrenaline so you have no skills to spike with :S So I don't understand at what time during the spike you'll be using Blackout..
